Additional document when declaring a payment incident: AMIABLE APPROACH

Product features |  15-Jun-2022

At the members' request, 123cargo introduces a new type of document required to declare a payment incident, namely the proof of an attempt to settle the incident/claim, called AMIABLE APPROACH.
By implementing this approach, we recommend an amiable settlement of any existing claim between the two parties. Proof of this amiable approach may be an official address or an operational email to the author of the payment incident, that mentions information on the shipment / due invoice. 123cargo, in the "Payment incidents" menu, provides a sample of an amiable approach form that can be downloaded by members as a PDF file pre-filled with information.

Thus, in addition to the order, CMR and invoice, we will also require a proof that the declarant attempted to settle the incident/claim. Do check before declaring a payment incident that you have also uploaded the amiable approach!

We recommend that you use the amiable approach to settle your claims and then declare a payment incident!
