Following requests from our users, this feature is now available. Here are a few details about how you can rate a business partner after completing a transport transaction through BursaTransport/123cargo.
Who can submit a rating?
Any user can submit a rating on behalf of the company for which they use BursaTransport/123cargo.
Who can be rated?
A business partner that acted either as the customer or the carrier in a transport transaction. The rating applies to the company, not to the individual user you interacted with.
What are ratings used for?
Ratings reflect users’ own experiences from transport transactions carried out with the rated partner and contribute to building the rated company’s profile. BursaTransport makes this profile available to all active users.
Received ratings are visible to all active BursaTransport/123cargo users. They can be found in the company profile, under the Scoring section, displayed as a list in reverse chronological order, with the most recent rating first.
Since freight forwarding companies, in particular, may act in a dual capacity – either as a customer or as a carrier in transport transactions – each rating also indicates the role held by the rated company in the transaction on which the rating is based.
Ratings you have submitted are available as a list in the user drop-down menu (click on your name after logging in), then go to Administration Panel, followed by the Company Data section.
Naturally, the list of submitted ratings is visible only to users of the company that submitted them. It is not available to users from other companies.
In the future, if the rating system meets the expectations of the BursaTransport project, the received ratings will be incorporated into the company’s contractual performance scores.
What is being rated?
For a company acting as a carrier, the rating assesses:
• whether the agreed loading and unloading schedules were respected;
• whether the driver could be contacted during transport.
For a company acting as a customer, the rating assesses:
• the quality of the transport order, including whether the transport instructions were accurate and complete;
• whether the customer could be contacted during transport to provide instructions in the event of unexpected circumstances.
Ratings are submitted under the user’s own responsibility.
This is important because received ratings may affect the rated company either positively or negatively. Submitted ratings are public and may therefore be challenged or verified.
Additionally, before accepting a rating, BursaTransport/123cargo checks whether the activity history of both the rating company and the rated company on the BursaTransport/123cargo platform provides evidence of a potential transaction between the two companies. This includes specifying the period during which the user states that the transport transaction took place, as well as the route on which the transport was carried out.
Certain restrictions are also in place to prevent misuse or excessive rating activity.
Where can I submit a rating on BursaTransport/123cargo?
You can submit a rating from the main menu by selecting Rate your partner, or from the rated company’s profile, in the Scoring section.
There, you can review ratings the company has already received and submit your own rating.
Which companies can I rate?
Any company that is currently active or has previously been active on BursaTransport/123cargo, provided that you state that you have completed a transport transaction with that company and that the transaction can be identified in the BursaTransport/123cargo activity history of both your company and the rated company.
